Our baseboards are very easy to install and require little preparation. Make sure to have a clean surface that is dry and free of dirt residues beforehand. Additionally, the room where you want to install the baseboard should have a humidity level between 40 and a maximum of 70% and be climate-controlled to a temperature between 10 and a maximum of 35 °C. 

For the installation of the baseboards, you will need a special adhesive, which we offer in our shop. Make sure to choose the right adhesive for your substrate. The "DekoFix Pro" Glue suitable for porous, absorbent, and dry substrates. For the joint connection between two profiles, you need the product "DecoFix Extra" and for the final finishing of joints the "DecoFiller Finisher".

First, you need to measure the length and angles for the baseboards. Then you can start with the practical work: Cut the boards to the required lengths. With a miter cut, you can trim the appropriate angles for your edges and corners. The corresponding Miter box You can easily obtain this in our shop. Then apply the adhesive to the back of the baseboard and press it firmly against the wall. Be sure to stick it straight – a level can help you with that. Finally, remove any excess adhesive before it can dry. Now give the baseboard enough time to dry. Continue this process until all baseboards are installed.
